Upcoming Projects

AHF Food Bank

Feeding the less privileged and dis advantaged in the society;

    1. Adult Program: To provide a meal a day to the less opportune in the society.

    2. Children & Youth Program: A study conducted by a professional team showed that majority of children in rural areas of Lagos state in particular and Nigeria in general do not have access to breakfast on school days.

Majority go to school with minimal or no food as the family can only cater for a group or family meal in the afternoon and maybe dinner if the opportunity presents itself.

This accounts for their inability to focus on the education, without food especially in the morning, the brain will automatically shut down and leads to sleeping, sluggishness and short attention span during lesson time. Absent mindedness is also a major outcome of no breakfast to school.

Prison Outreach

Nigeria's prison population is more than 76,000, housed in 240 correctional centres. About 70% of these inmates are still awaiting trial. They have been arrested and charged, but not yet convicted or cleared. This is the highest percentage of awaiting-trial prisoners in Africa. This is the sad reality and in recent years, one of the major challenges confronting the Nigerian Prisons is the problem of overcrowding. The problem has snowballed into various dimensions such as poor feeding, dilapidated structures and unhygienic environments affecting the health of the inmates.
We at Acejo Heritage Foundation have decided to extend our benevolence empathy to these Nigerians and help them in any capacity we can.
